Dracula Character list 

Dracula - More of the classic vampire, he is charming but there is always underlying power and evil. He doesn’t ”sparkle “

Professor Van Helsing - close friend of Dr Seward, very smart with a very wry Dutch sense of humor. World renowned scientist and expert on occult and rare diseases.

Elinor Van Helsing - wife of Professor Van Helsing. She is her own woman; she too is an expert on the occult and helps her husband the Professor, but she is not afraid to go off on her own quests from time to time.

Dr Seward - owner of the sanitarium for the mentally ill, a good wise Doctor, but at his wits end and fearing the death of his daughter.

Mina Seward - once a vibrant turn of the century young lady now sickly and under a lot of strain having lost her cousin and dearest friend Lucy to the same disease she now has.

The Woman in White/ Lucy - Lucy was Mina’s cousin now is a ghoulish figure who preys on children and haunts the countryside and is under Dracula’s power.

Johnathan Harker - A real estate broker, his firm rented the Abbey to Dracula, he is also Mina's fiancé. Strong, confident, yet is very respectful. And is madly in love with Mina.

Philip Applebee - Friend of Harker, 2nd cousin to Mina and Lucy. a bit of a rich snob but likable enough.

RM Renfield - (this character can be any sex) Renfield was found wandering Carfax Abbey, he is as described a babbling idiot, but in reality, is under Dracula's control, he works on the premise that eating live things will give him eternal life ( this is a physically demanding role)

Smedley - (comic relief) is the long-suffering head attendant for the asylum. But his job maybe in danger if he “can’t keep his looneys locked up”

Miss Finster - Maid for Miss Mina, is very concerned about her health, becomes a slave to Dracula and helps him.

Mrs. Robertson - head of the household has known them all for years.

Captain Rostov - Captain of the ship Demeter, seasoned sea captain, all his crew was lost except 1 and you have to wait to be cast to find out about him.
